Kids Camps and Teen Internships

Wisdom Arts Laboratory camps include activities and classes that nurture intuition and technique. All camps include free play and community building. All of the curriculum is designed and taught by practicing artists, dancers, thespians and musicians. Fridays culminate with either an art exhibition or a performance.

  • Camps run Monday through Friday.

  • We start at 9 AM and end at 2:30.

  • Campers can arrive anytime after 8:30 AM.

  • Campers must be picked up before 3 PM.

  • Campers should bring a water bottle, a lunch and a snack.

  • Every Friday we will culminate with an art exhibit or a performance to showcase our week.

Learn to make stunning, tiny sundry items, strawberry jam, French bread, sourdough and a plate of cheese - or a little soap collection - all in miniature - think tiny.

A Cake Horse? Thing Theater

This Thing Theater camp will honor the late Monty Python member, Terry Jones and his collection of funny and creative children's stories. Students will form troupes and re-tell a Terry Jones fairy tale using props, puppets, animation and/or shadow-puppets.

What is your look? What will your new collection look like? Design something that can be duplicated. Have fun and walk your line on the runway.

Fashion Designer (Teens)

Fashion Designer 

July 27 – 31, (ages 12 – 17)

Do you just love fashion? Join What’s your Line? Fashion and Runway.Be a fashion designer. Work independently, or participate in class. Use our materials, try a sewing machine or bring your own sewing machine. Be inspired by our collection of trims, bolts of fabric and remnants. 

Junior Internships

Junior Intern (ages 12 – 14)

Junior Interns are both campers and interns. They assist in classes and help supervise the play yard. They also participate by building projects and inspiring younger campers. Tuition for Junior Interns is $175 per week.

Summer Internships

Internship (ages 15 – 17)

​The interns assist in classes and supervision of the play yard. Interns are assigned to mentor a junior intern, or certain campers. They work as leaders and role models for the campers. Interns participate in all camp activities, including the making of projects. Interns work, play and inspire each other, teachers and campers. There is no charge for internships.

Wisdom Arts Laboratory is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Fractured Atlas will receive grants and donations for the charitable purpose of Wisdom Arts Laboratory, provide oversight to ensure that funds are used in accordance with grant agreements, and provide reports as required by the grantor. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Wisdom Arts Laboratory must be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
