Wisdom Arts Laboratory after-school classes run from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. There is a 15 minute pick-up grace period after class, but all students must be picked up by 5:15.
Wisdom Arts Laboratory (WAL) has partnered with Friend Western School's Aftercare Program to supply childcare before the classes begin, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. The childcare includes supervised outdoor play and refreshments. There is a FWS separate one time registration process, if you are interested please email the FWS Childcare Coordinator.

Design and paint. Sew stuffs, paint on fabric and wood. And - if you want- make things to sell at our Bagel Brunch Fundraiser on Saturday, November 9. All artists- including child artists receive 50% of the sales price at the Bagel Brunch Market.
WAL Fall - Build a Whirligig
Session 2: October 23, 30, November 6, 13, 20
Teacher: Guadalupe Montalvo
Design, build and engineer a whirligig. The Whirligig is a traditional folk art, but anything that has a moving part can become a whirly gig: an airplane, a spaceship, a dog, a horse, imagine it and build it.

Take your mask to the next level by creating larger-than life costumes or puppets and take your character to the streets at the annual Doo-Dah Parade on November 24! We will play fun improv games to help us perform as a cohesive group.
